Focus On Africa Development Inc regional office Kenya has successfully completed the rehabilitation of toilets at a primary school in Kibera slum-Nairobi. Project was funded by Australian High Commissioner Kenya under DAP project and implemented in partnership with the local community.

Qualifications: MPH (Monash).Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Somali National University- 1982)

In Australia: Community Health Officer (Banyule Community Health Services Centre), Victoria; Research Officer at the Centre for Population Health in the West, Victoria; Public Health Fellow- Victorian Public Health Training Scheme.

Dr Said is on the standby personnel register of RedR Australia and Australian Civilian Corps.

Where we work and Where does the money you donate go?
Focus on Africa Development works in  African countries tackling poverty wherever the need is greatest. The NGO is currently operating in Kenya , in North   and South Sudan and Somalia.  The regional headquarter is Nairobi. The head office is Melbourne. We depend on the support of Australian well wishers for funding and government grants - 80% of our budget is allocated solely on field payments, including food and goods. The remainder 20% is spent on administration and fundraising.
